Canadian tribunal finds preliminary injury indication for paperboard cups from China

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal found a reasonable indication that dumped and subsidized paperboard cups and containers from China caused injury to Canada's domestic industry. This is a preliminary injury stage, not a final finding or tariff decision.

Why it matters in CanadaCanadian producers and importers of the specified goods should follow the CBSA investigations and later trade-remedy decisions. The Tribunal's preliminary finding does not itself establish a new duty rate.
