03 / INTEGRATION NOTES

Keep the evidence intact.

Data access is free. Published evidence still has methodological and reuse boundaries.

01 / DATE

Read the timestamps

generated_at, latest_period, published_at and verified_on can describe different events. Check source-specific freshness; a newly generated file can include older observations.

02 / BASIS

Compare like with like

Balance-of-payments aggregate trade is seasonally adjusted. Customs detail and HS6 product observations are unadjusted. Do not merge unlike bases or infer individual company exposure.

03 / DELIVERY

Use HTTP GET

Public JSON is served as static files. No accounts, key management, write endpoints, query engine or pagination. Read-only cross-origin requests are permitted; consumers must handle unavailable or failed responses.

04 / CONTRACT

Expect evolving schemas

Some files expose schema_version. This is a public-data preview, without an API versioning guarantee, uptime SLA, backward-compatibility promise or paid support contract.

05 / SOURCE

Retain provenance

Preserve source publisher, URL, measurement unit, period and OBOR attribution. Policy records are bounded; verify shipment and product eligibility from the primary authority.

06 / RIGHTS

Review reuse terms

Free retrieval does not grant blanket redistribution or sublicensing rights over underlying third-party material. Consult original source terms before commercial republication.
